Patrick's award winning work has been published
by Harper and Row and
others.
His works are in numerous private and corporate collections.
He is a member
of the American Society of Portrait Artists,
California Art Club and Oil
Painters of America.
His
figurative and portrait works are painted mostly from life.
He intermingles
the use of photographs
when necessary due
to client's time constraints.
When not painting models he is, more often than not,
on the road seeking
out the most dynamic natural locations
to set up his easel and paint "en
plein air".
For it is working directly from nature and live models
that he captures and transforms
the subtleties of mood,
light and atmosphere
that transport
the viewer most intimately to the scene. |
